Fretheim Hotel Review

Located very close to Flamsbana Railway, the 4-star Fretheim Hotel Flam offers 116 rooms with views of the garden. This original-style hotel is in a historic neighbourhood, at a distance of 500 metres from such natural sights as the 40-kilometre long Naeroyfjord River.

In the Fretheim Flam a free buffet breakfast will be waiting for you in the restaurant. There is a lobby bar, which offers antique furniture and a fireplace in its interior design. Dining options also include AEgir microbrewery, located within arm's reach of the property.

The property places you a 10-minute ride from Brekkefossen and in front of Flam Railway Museum. It is also a 10-minute drive from the parish Flam Church and near gardens and a fjord.

The hotel is located in the shopping area of Flam, just near FjordSafari.

All of the en suite rooms are appointed with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels along with coffee/tea making facilities, and some of them comprise a balcony and a seating area. They are also decorated with antique furniture. Providing a walk-in shower and a separate toilet, some bathrooms have hair dryers and bath sheets. Guests are welcome to use a kitchenette with a coffee maker, refrigerators, and an oven in an apartment.

Fretheim Hotel is a mere 5 minutes' walk from Flam stasjon bus stop.

A terrace, various recreational opportunities, and a spacious garden are features of the Fretheim. Take part in diverse sports — diving, hiking, and cycling and others.
