Old Ground Hotel Review

Old Ground Hotel Ennis offers 105 rooms only 5 minutes on foot from The Clare Museum. Wi-Fi is accessible in the rooms and parking is provided on site.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant each morning. Snacks and beverages are available at the comfortable lounge bar. The fast food restaurant Hillbilly's Family Restaurant is situated within a 5-minute walk of this excellent hotel.

This hotel is ideally set around a 10-minute ride from Dysert O'Dea Castle and Archaeology Centre. The attractive hotel is located right at the circa-1867 Roman Doric column "Daniel O'Connell Monument" and The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul.

The accommodation stands within 5 minutes' drive of the ruined Augustinian monastery "Clare Abbey", popular with pilgrims and tourists alike.

Some of the air-conditioned units feature WiFi and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels as well as coffee/tea making equipment. They are furnished with double beds or single beds along with a writing table. Providing hair dryers and guest toiletries, the private bathrooms are also equipped with a power shower and a separate toilet.

Ennis bus station is a walk from the 4-star Old Ground Hotel.

The Old Ground offers a meeting room and a business centre where guests can use a photocopy machine and a work desk.
