Portola Hotel & Spa Review
Featuring hire of cars, as well as Wi Fi throughout the property, the 4-star Portola Hotel & Spa At Monterey Bay is set in Monterey, around a 10-minute drive from the enormous Monterey Bay Aquarium. Boasting the location within walking distance from Old Fisherman's Wharf, this eco-friendly hotel offers a view over ocean and sauna facilities and an outdoor swimming pool.
The Portola Hotel & Spa At Monterey Bay features a daily buffet breakfast. Onsite you can choose from a menu of American cuisine at Jacks Monterey restaurant. There is a lounge bar, which offers an open fireplace in its interior design. The hotel features a restaurant nearby, where guests can enjoy a variety of Mexican cuisine.
The property is located in Downtown Monterey where fine dining and shopping abound, a 5-minute ride from the waterfront Cannery Row Street. As a plus for business travellers, the Portola Hotel & Spa At Monterey Bay is close enough to Monterey Conference Center.
Visit El Estero Lake, 1.8 km from the accommodation, and feel complete harmony with the nature of United States. The nearby cultural attractions include the specialized Presidio of Monterey Museum, which is not too far from Portola Hotel & Spa At Monterey Bay.
Some rooms provide a coffeemaker as well as high-speed internet and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels to help you enjoy your stay. They are furnished with queen size beds along with a cupboard and a work desk. The private bathrooms have a sauna and a hot tub, and comforts such as hair dryers and toiletries.
Monterey Transit Plaza bus station is only 450 metres from the property, and the Petite Lovers Point Beach Park is 10 minutes away by car.
Fitness classes and an outdoor swimming pool are available at additional cost as well. Apart from an outdoor swimming pool, the Portola Hotel & Spa At Monterey Bay also has a wellness centre. Activities such as snorkelling, diving and hiking can be arranged by the property.
