Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel Review

Offering a safety deposit box and a fire extinguisher, the 5-star Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel is nestled 5 minutes' walk from Mercado Central and 25 minutes' walk from Machu Picchu Inca Citadel. A lounge bar as well as massage therapy and a garden can be enjoyed at the hotel, boasting the setting only a short distance from Plaza Manco Capac.

The Sumaq serves a cold buffet breakfast in the morning. Guests will enjoy South American dishes at Hot Springs Restaurant and Pizzeria, which is within easy reach of this comfortable property.

This comfortable accommodation is surrounded by a river and mountains with the view of the Vilcanota River. Los Jardines de Mandor Botanical Garden is a 10-minute drive of the Sumaq Machu Picchu, while Consettur to Machupicchu bus stop is just 200 metres away.

The luxury property is also not very far from the Vilcanota River. Inca Trail is 25 minutes' walk from Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel.

All of the soundproof rooms are complete with Wi-Fi and cable channels as well as a mini-bar and coffee/tea making equipment, and some of them comprise a lounge area and a private balcony. The units are designed in a luxurious manner. Fitted with a sauna and a hot tub, the deluxe bathrooms feature hair dryers and bathrobes. The units also look over the garden.

For those travelling from afar, Machu Picchu airport is 15 minutes' drive away.

A hot tub and sauna facilities are available as well. The hotel also features a spa lounge for you to relax in. Business travellers are welcome to use a meeting room and a business centre offered on site.
